Which I.P do you use?

** I  am thinking of changing my internet provider, and as there are so many doing special offers at the moment I thought I would do a survey and ask my fellow bloggers which one they use.  If anyone would like to comment and  add a few words as to why, then it might help me compose a short list. At the moment I am with AOL but I know there are cheaper one's out there. Cheers guys. **

  1. Ken,
Not one for change, I have been with AOL for several years and I'll be interested if you can get cheaper. With AOL I get my Broadband, phone rental and all landline calls (not to mobiles) for £21 a month, which seems really good to me.

  2. Hi Ken,
I have been with Orange for 17 years besides the discounts I get my internet is free. No complaints, but if you look around I'm sure you could find something as good if not better.

  4. Hi Ken I'm with TalkTalk. I don't think you can get cheaper but you do have to deal with call centres abroad if you have any problems, not that we have really had any to speak of. We have been with them for years. We were with Onetel originally but they were eventually taken over by Talktalk.

Sorry to read on your previous post that you have been unwell but glad you are getting out and about again now. It sounded like you had a pleasant day out with your friend and saw lots of interest.

    Lovely header photo!

  6. Hi Ken, I have read the above responses and thought I would add my experiences. I spent a trouble free few years with BT, having a broadband, line rental and all calls except to a mobile 24/7. I had no trouble with them and I do not think I had to ring them once in my time with them to report any faults. I then was offered a cheaper similar set up from cold callers that knocked on my door, from Talk Talk. I signed with them and got a free router that was, and still is not compatible with my 2 year old computer, and a broadband service that is so slow at peak times that it becomes almost unusable. My broadband keeps dropping, to which Talk Talk has no answer, and my 12 month contract which ends in December cannot come quick enough. I will return to B.T then. I cannot advise to which is the best, different companies seem to work better in different areas, but what I can advise is that the cheapest is not always the best. Also if you are not having problems with AOL, then it may be better to stay with the devil you know.
