** RSPB 1 Hour Garden Bird Watch. **

This afternoon I did my RSPB 1 hour garden bird watch. Below is my sightings:
  1. Blue Tit 2
  2. Great Tit 1
  3. Long tailed Tit 3
  4. Robin 2
  5. Dunnock 2
  6. Blackcap 1
  7. House Sparrow 14
  8. Chaffinch 7
  9. Goldfinch 3
  10. Reed Bunting 1Blackbird 3
  11. Starling 11
  12. Collared Dove 5
  13. Wood Pigeon 1
  14. Great Spotted Woodpecker 2
  15. Black Headed Gull 1 ( surprise bird of the hour, landed in garden and cleared up some of the scraps, then flew off with half a apple.)
To round the day off while doing my bird count 5 Lapwings flew over, which doesn't happen very often.

    Still looking for Reed Bunting for my New Hythe 2013 list. I think they are all in people's gardens at the moment.
    You got a good list there for one hour,especially the BH Gull.

    I am sure it is only a matter of time before you see Reed Buntings on your patch. Have you looked in your new garden for any?
