** Lifer Moth Found In The Garden.**

This afternoon while tidying up the pond to which I saw 2 frogs just out of the water, I happen to come across a large moth in the wildlife area next to it. Not having seen it before I thought I would try and capture it to look it up. It was in no hurry to move on at this moment in time, but as soon as I caught it the moth became more active, as you would expect, it just wanted to get away. I was able to get a picture of the moth, but not a good one.
The picture I took is below, and not being up on moths I am  going to guess that it is possibly a
LARGE YELLOW UNDERWING.
My other guess was going to be the Lesser Yellow Underwing, but I decided to stick with my first deduction. If I am wrong please inform me as to what species it is)

Other wildlife seen today was 4 young Swallows at the Riverside Country Park sitting on the top of a tree near the path that leads to Horrid Hill,  1 Curlew, 4 Redshank. The highlight of our walk was  when we was on the boardwalk, there was a GRASS SNAKE swimming on the top of the water through the weed and occasionally going under. Along with 3 other people we stood and watched it for 15 minutes, even when we left it was still there.
