Last week Pam and I went to Norfolk for a weeks holiday, it was one of those give and take breaks. The weather was mainly dry, my main days out was to Titchwell, that is where I saw a majority of birds to add to my years list, the others where scattered here and there. The birds added to my list was as follows:
BRAMBLING. GREEN SANDPIPER. KNOT. BAR TAILED GODWIT. BARN OWL. COMMON SCOTER. GUILLEMOT. RINGED PLOVER. RED BREASTED MERGANSER. RED THROATED DIVER. EGYPTIAN GEESE. RED CRESTED POCHARD (3M,2F). **RED KITE**. PINK FOOTED GEESE. COAL TIT. BLACK REDSTART(M)..
My "Bird of the Day" is easy for me. Although there quite a few good birds to choose from, there can be only one, and that is my favourite of all time, the ** RED KITE **
I agree with your bird of the day Ken. Glad you had a good week in Norfolk.
ReplyDeleteMy favourite too Ken, I've got over 2,500 'selected' photo's to date and with them close to me in Sussex theres going to be more. Mike.
ReplyDeleteHi Phil. Good to hear from you, hope you and Carol are ok. It was well worth the trip. You cannot beat a Red Kite can you?
