** Waxwing Sighting At Last In Snodland.**

I finally managed to add Waxwing's to my year list thanks to a early morning call from Alan of http://snodlandblogspotcom.blogspot.com/.  who manage to get some great shots of them. I arrived at about 10.15am, and they was just where Alan gave directions to, which is in Snodland, the top of Hollow Lane, turn left then right. The bush is on the corner.
They was feeding on the Cottoneaster berries, and they they flew up the road to feed on the fallen crab apples Just as we pulled up Greenie of http://www.greenieinthewild.blogspot.com/ pulled in behind up, although he and his fellow photographer had been here a lot longer than us. Greenie  also took some good photo's of them. Me, well I never got the chance to shoot them, as they soon flew off, and  never returned in the little time I had, but I saw them, that was the main thing.

  5. Ken ,
Good to meet up again .
Like Phil , I think they will stick around the area for a while , with at least 4 , probably more food sources available to them .
With more time , I'm sure you will be successful .
